![]() IOS even has Swiftkey (it’s what I mainly use), but it’s so lacking in features it’s ridiculous. Tried all the different ones there are, but I just cannot type as well as on Android with Swiftkey. I recently have been trying out an iPhone and typing on it is still a pain even after almost 5 months. I just wish there was more advancements for intuitive virtual keyboards that were quick, accurate, and unobtrusive. I don't think I've ever gotten more frustrated using the internet on my phone than trying to type on this forum. At this point, I hit a letter when I'm trying to press the space bar, I'm tapping all over just to place the karat in a space where I'm trying to add or delete a letter, I'm losing screen real estate just from the keyboard, which can be really wonky and too sensititve, and it's even worst putting it in landscape mode which should be the optimal way to use both thumbs to type but it's useless.ĭon't even get me started on how terrible ResetEra is trying to type on my phone. Even back with entering letters on a keypad felt like even if I was slower, I was more accurate. I just find typing with one hand slightly easier. I also started trying to use swiping to type again since I used to use it all the time on an older phone but now that my phone has gotten bigger it's more difficult to swipe (or type to be honest) with one hand. I try to use talk-to-text when I can, but it's a bit of a pain correcting if it misunderstands and it's not so great when I'm out in public. I held out for as long as I could with a physical slide out keyboard and even now like 6 years later, virtual keyboards haven't gotten any better.
